What you wear really does matter! Stay true to YOU and make sure you are comfortable in what you are wearing. Wearing something that isn't you or is so uncomfortable that it's all you can even think about will only cause you to not be present during your shoot.

Colors and patterns can really affect the end result of your photos. If you like a clean, expensive, elegant look opt for solid neutrals. White, black, greys, creams in a solid pattern. Plaids, stripes, or other patterns can really distract from focusing on You! And that's what this is all about. Now if you prefer something a bit more warm, flowy, lively I would opt for autumn colors in mostly solid/solid patterns that have movement. Tight fitted clothes just won't give you that liveliness feel.

Ultimately this is about You, so come whichever way makes you feel most comfortable and free to be yourself.
